I dont knock myself too hard. I stopped obsessing over weight and decided to only weight myself once a week. Good luck on your feast, stay strong !Vadimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07676919768303339605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-81009717113653902402008-11-27T14:17:00.000-08:002008-11-27T14:17:00.000-08:00Aloha, Vadim. As you know, I am also an emotional e...Aloha, Vadim.

As you know, I am also an emotional eater. And, I DO NOT cope with stress well. In fact, I try to hide from stress and confrontation as often as possible. But, as you mentioned, the key is to find a non-destructive way to deal with stress. Because, stress will never be too far away ... in one form or another. It's a part of life.

Maybe somewhere on this journey, we will discover better coping skills. I'll certainly let you know if I find anything that helps. Please do the same.

I'm off to our Thanksgiving feast. Wish me luck!

I hope your holiday celebration is a joyful and memorable one.

PS - Even though you might have been disappointed with your menu yesterday ... I saw a lot of good decisions on your part. So, please don't knock yourself too badly. Take the small victories and build upon them!Harry/JPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04259374954499772933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-81908240984446192862008-11-27T12:03:00.000-08:002008-11-27T12:03:00.000-08:00Absolutely, Lynn! I do great, then something negative happens, and I throw it all out the window! But we'll get there!! And I think the blogging makes us accountable so it's not our secret anymore. Keep trying!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-18040324711687166132008-11-27T07:07:00.000-08:002008-11-27T07:07:00.000-08:00Thanks, Erika! Thanks, Erika!Vadimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07676919768303339605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-52255857055677247212008-11-27T02:37:00.000-08:002008-11-27T02:37:00.000-08:00Hi Vadim,I agree fully with Harry - you will find ...Hi Vadim,

I agree fully with Harry - you will find what works for YOU. That'll be my dinner for tonight - along with some mashed cauliflower.

I'm finding that preparing for my day's menus helps a great deal.

You're going to find your way. Whether it's 5+1 or any variation thereof. Remember, this is "Low Carb YOUR Way".

And, you will find the right formula for you. The only way to do that is through experimentation and victories and failures.

Stick with it and you'll get there!Harry/JPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04259374954499772933noreply@blogger.com
