However, according to research, magnesium can be considered the most deficient nutrient in the United States due to a poor diet which consists mainly of processed foods, and a stressful and hectic lifestyle. Stress further depletes the body and causes an imbalance in the body's biochemistry.

Magnesium is used in therapy as a natural anxiety treatment because of its relaxing effect and is essential for over 300 chemical reactions in the body.

The body needs this particular mineral to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which powers all your bodily functions and reactions. A deficiency causes ATP production to fall, and the body forms lactic acid instead. Excessive levels of lactic acid causes anxiety and irritability symptoms. The deficiency also causes signs of stress in the adrenal gland which results in physiological tension in the body. In severe cases, it may cause hyperventilation, seizures, nervous tension and panic attacks."

~DidiDidirinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10600207452839363505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-63612062949628173532009-05-08T19:23:00.000-07:002009-05-08T19:23:00.000-07:00Thanks Harry! I feel that too sometimes.

There may be other means by which you can relax. One option might be to get a therapeutic massage once or twice a week - at least to test if it helps with your level of stress and anxiety. The effects of massage can last long after the actual body work.

I'm not planning on going on the cruise at this time. I went on a cruise a few years back and didn't much care for it. But I must admit, it would be a lot of fun to get to meet you (if you went) and Jimmy and so many of the folks who'll be attending. :-)

There is an answer out there. We just need to find it. Believe that you can regain your health. You're a fighter and you will do so. I know it!Harry/JPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04259374954499772933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-46451400116739592432009-05-07T11:44:00.000-07:002009-05-07T11:44:00.000-07:00I have considered meditation and stress relief exe...I have considered meditation and stress relief exercise. But.... I am kind of hesitant to find time for them. I tried yoga before and it didnt pen out too well for me. I am a very hyper guy by nature and I love to move, move and move. If you met me you would know right away. I dont ever shut up, I talk a storm and at times I am way too much energy for people to handle. I work two jobs and my environment is high, very high energy. I know its unhealthy, but I cant relax and when I do I get scared. I think its subconscious fear of dying. I alwasy associate fatigue, yoga or slowing down with death . I dont like to be quite. Even on vacations I looooooove to move around. I can only lay down for 20 minutes and take sun, otherwise I am snorking, horse riding or doing soemthing else. Thats why all my ex couldnt deal with me, lol, which is understandable. But I started growing up. Its time to listen to my body and learn to relax. I will start looking for alternative medicine doctor. I think its coming from my stomack. When my stomack is fine and not distended all these symptoms go away. So it might be a combination of GERD or gas and panick attack, at least thats what I was told by few doctors, however I am continuing to do other tests to rule out any pathology first. Thanks Harry!

BTW are you considering to go on a trip next year with Jimmy Moore and bunch of other doctors. I dont know if I could, but I am considering it. Ok, later!Vadimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07676919768303339605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2448531891918817498.post-42144399407409131152009-05-06T21:09:00.000-07:002009-05-06T21:09:00.000-07:00I'm sorry you're struggling so much, Vadim. I wish I could take this pain away.

I think I asked this before but I don't recall getting an answer ... have you tried practicing some kind of stress reduction exercise? Maybe it would help quiet the symptoms?

Otherwise, do you have access to an alternative point of view? By that, I mean to a doctor that is open to use of natural remedies to help promote healing?

I'm confident that you can get well once again. Prove me right! Please! :-)

You'll be in my thoughts, kind sir. Please take good care of yourself.Harry/JPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04259374954499772933noreply@blogger.com
