Ok, I will not even comment on how the day as far as nutritionally. I had a bad day both at work and after. It was quite stressful. Traffic in NYC on preholiday is herendous. It took me 2.5 hours to get home from work, driving less then 10 miles. And I drive Honda Element stick shift. All that stress build turned into calories eaten. I am still dealing with ways to control impulsive eating and eating for psychological reasons. Am I weak? I think so, at least at times. Will I get better ? I know so! Happy Thanksgiving to ev everyone who celebrates this awesome Holiday!

That looks like a good start to your day, Vadim.
I just cooked some garlic-roasted chicken thighs this morning. That'll be my dinner for tonight - along with some mashed cauliflower.
I'm finding that preparing for my day's menus helps a great deal.
You're going to find your way. Whether it's 5+1 or any variation thereof. Remember, this is "Low Carb YOUR Way".
And, you will find the right formula for you. The only way to do that is through experimentation and victories and failures.
Stick with it and you'll get there!
I hope so, thanks a lot!
Hi Vadim,
I agree fully with Harry - you will find what works for YOU. And we'll be with you the whole way :)
Some of those meals sounded delicious, btw hehehe
Thanks, Erika!
I understand eating when stressed, Vadim. I've been using food for stress relief, comfort, etc. for MANY years, so it's not an easy thing to give up. I do great, then something negative happens, and I throw it all out the window! But we'll get there!! And I think the blogging makes us accountable so it's not our secret anymore. Keep trying!
Absolutely, Lynn! Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Turkey Day for you and all that are dear and close to your heart!
Aloha, Vadim.
As you know, I am also an emotional eater. And, I DO NOT cope with stress well. In fact, I try to hide from stress and confrontation as often as possible. But, as you mentioned, the key is to find a non-destructive way to deal with stress. Because, stress will never be too far away ... in one form or another. It's a part of life.
Maybe somewhere on this journey, we will discover better coping skills. I'll certainly let you know if I find anything that helps. Please do the same.
I'm off to our Thanksgiving feast. Wish me luck!
I hope your holiday celebration is a joyful and memorable one.
PS - Even though you might have been disappointed with your menu yesterday ... I saw a lot of good decisions on your part. So, please don't knock yourself too badly. Take the small victories and build upon them!
I read somewhere that for every 10 times you fall you have to get up 11 or along those lines. I dont knock myself too hard. I stopped obsessing over weight and decided to only weight myself once a week. Good luck on your feast, stay strong !
