Way to battle on, Vadim!

I'm impressed by the fact that you're sticking to low-carb food options. That's HUGE in my humble opinion.

Like you, I find that I begin to get hunger pangs close to bedtime. The later I stay up, the worse it gets.

Maybe we can find a way to overcome or manage this inappropriate late-night hunger?

Some people swear by coconut oil. When you're hungry, but you really shouldn't or don't want to eat, try taking a tablespoon of coconut oil.

I may give this a try myself and let you know how it works out. Think about it ... maybe it's worth a shot for you too.

I hope today is a victory for Team Vadim!

I gotta agree with Harry. You're putting up a good fight there.

I've been experiencing hunger pains close to my bed time for the past few days. I never had this happen before! I used to nibble on food until right before I went to bed. I am not someone who eats breakfast right when I wake up.
Two reasons:
1. I am not hungry.
2. I am lazy. I stay in bed until last possible minute, then bolt out of bed and hurry to get ready for work. (working on that one)

Now I am hungry in the morning partly because I don't eat so close to bed time. I started eating a spoonful of coconut oil now for breakfast.

This coconut oil is definitely something. I started taking a spoonful or two everyday this week. I can't say it's delicious, but there is something about it now that makes me feel good. Immediatly after eating it, I have a terrible waxy taste, but later I have a coconutty taste in my mouth. I have been told that it also gives you energy. I do have a lot more energy, but that may have to do with my new exercise plan too.

Ok, I will try coconut oil for sure. Next time I go to Trader Joe I will pack few bottles of coconut oil. I just bought a coconut milk, wanna try that as well. Harry I agree with you, we have to find a way to combat this late night hunger. I guess it is nice and calm at night and body releases melatonin which is supposed to make us go to sleep and if we dont, the body treats it as oh, oh something is wrong here, we are not sleeping, its dark so we are in some kinds of distress here and produces cortisol which can make us hungry. I am sure there might be some other explanations as well. Sadekat I am with you on morning and laziness, I feel the same! Hey your blog is really good, and Harry.s too. I always enjoy reading whatever you guys put up. Thanks for encouraging and good advice as always!
